Former Fox 26 KRIV anchor, reporter and managing editor Jocelyn Lane shared some cool photos with us of her interview experiences with Jerry Lewis.

Any post about Lewis is perfect for this time of year with the MDA Telethon coming up (even though Lewis is no longer apart of it.)

"The first was taken when I shot an interview and promos in Las Vegas with Jerry Lewis in 1981, when I was a news anchor in Albany, New York and co-hosted of the Muscular Dystrophy Telethon there," Lane told mikemcguff.com. "The second was taken [in early August], when I interviewed Lewis (who is now 86) in Nashville for Inside Edition."

Lane tells me Lewis is directing his first stage production, The Nutty Professor, in Nashville. He hopes to take it to Broadway.

"It was great to see him again, although, of course, he didn't remember me," Lane said. "He was as funny and cantankerous as ever."

Lane by the way is a freelance network news producer and still lives in Houston. She was at KRIV for nearly 20 years.
