Samantha Jordan, the on-air web reporter for 740 KTRH, is leaving the station after two years.She's heading to WDBO 96.5 as a reporter and anchor in Orlando, FL.
"I’ve got all my friends and family there and it feels great to be able to have this opportunity to work with an amazing news station in the city I grew up in," Jordan told me in an email. "I appreciate all that KTRH has done for me. They brought me to a major market where I learned valuable lessons and I will miss the team that I’ve worked with every day."
It was reported in late May that Jordan was leaving Houston, but that was retracted. She says the deal was not "set in stone yet" at that point.
Jordan's last day will be June 26th.
