I told you before about the Houston media turkey calling contest 10am, Saturday, November 10th at the Houston Zoo. Now I can report things are coming together.It's all to promote the TXU Energy Turkey Trot benefiting Sheltering Arms Senior Services. The race takes place at Dillard’s near the Galleria on Thanksgiving Day, November 22, 2012.
The Houston media participants are being invited and booked right now, but I understand some of them might be more chicken than turkey? Yeah, apparently some TV types in this town are the wrong type of barnyard animal and not accepting the turkey call invitations!
It's time to talk turkey and quit messing around.
